Visit the historic Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site featured in films like Gladiator and Game of Thrones. Continue through Ouarzazate and the lush Draa Valley with its vast palm groves.

Arrive in Zagora in time for a sunset camel ride across the dunes, then settle into your private tent at the desert camp. Enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner under the stars with live Berber music around the campfire.   • The tour starts at 7:00 AM on Day 1 and ends around 8:00 PM on Day 3.
  • Both Luxury and Standard Desert Camps include private tents. Luxury tents feature private in-tent bathrooms, while standard tents have shared facilities nearby (see “standard or luxury desert camp booking version” for details)
  • Tour can also start from Ouarzazate (NO FEES applied)—mention it when booking
  • Camel ride alternatives: walk to the camp or request a 4x4 transfer (€50 per way per vehicle)
  • Optional quad biking available (€50 per person, 1-hour session; min. 2 people)

Day 1Marrakech - Zagora - Sahara Desert

Drive from Marrakech to Ait Ben Haddou
Start your day with an early morning pickup from your hotel or riad in Marrakech and drive across the High Atlas Mountains on a scenic route to the world heritage village of Ait Ben Haddou.

Visit Ait Ben Haddou
Explore the iconic Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, famous as the setting for Hollywood movies and fashion photoshoots. Enjoy some free time for lunch and photography.

Continue to Agdez
Drive through the Draa Valley with its lush date palms and fortified kasbahs before reaching the oasis town of Agdez.

Arrive in Zagora & Sunset Camel Ride
Upon arrival in Zagora, meet your camel caravan and enjoy a sunset ride over the desert dunes, witnessing the sands glow in warm sunset colors.

Transfer to Sahara Desert Camp
Head to your Sahara Desert camp just before nightfall and settle into your private tent, taking some time to explore the desert surroundings.

Dinner and Campfire Entertainment

Transfer from Zagora to Marrakech
